“A charming cottage with dramatic views of the sea”

It is a well presented small seaside cottage ideal for two people, with excellent facilities and a wonderful view in easy reach of the small town of Castletown, which is both fascinating and has good places to eat and shop. Comfortable and warm it was well managed by the owner who's agent met us and explained the facilities. There's a wonderful butchers/fishmongers/deli in the town that does local produce. The Tap Room has a good family atmosphere and does a good range of meals. The Tiffin, a cafe, does nice things on toast. The House of Keys is very interesting and the Castle huge. But just watching the bay is lovely, as are local walks. It is only about 5 minutes from the steam railway station and a good service on the bus is also easy to access. We loved it and would return and recommend it to others.
