Our first time to the island and we loved it! We recommend the walk from Post Erin via the sound and seals back to Port St Mary. Beautiful island, friendly people, cottage was perfect. So much to explore, we will be back.

We came to the island for our honeymoon 50 years ago, so here for our Golden Wedding. Have had a great week, helped by Roy Cottage being so perfect, clean and well furnished with lovely views. We recommend the House of Keys and the Castle; Leonardos is good for dinner.

First time in Man and hopefully not the last. Super cottage, everything just right. We like Castletown, including the tin baths! Jan lovely too.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is one of the best – comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely setting. We enjoyed the railways and costal paths. My last visit to the island was in 1962, some things have changed but the island is still beautiful.

Excellent cottage, really enjoyed our stay. Will be back.

We already loved the Isle of Man and Castletown, but Roy Cottage has given us the perfect week. So clean, comfortable and warm, with constantly changing views. We liked The Sidings, The George, Glue Pot and for a treat Tuscany.

Manx GP and Classic were amazing but it made our holiday perfect to be able to return each day to such a lovely, cosy and clean welcoming cottage. We enjoyed being away from the evening noise of the town and thoroughly enjoyed the peace, tranquility and stunning views at Roy Cottage. Thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the island. Cottage so clean and tidy. We appreciated the stunning scenery. The icing on the cake was to return home each evening to this delightful comfortable cottage.

First time to the Isle of Man, we successfully travelled from top to bottom, side to side and TT at correct speed! We visited heritage sites and walked, with fabulous weather.

Outstanding cottage – 5*! A great base for exploring the coasts and mountains, stunning scenery and great wildlife. Friendly locals and great hospitality. Hope to return for more hill and costal walking.

We loved our stay here. It was so beautiful to have breakfast overlooking the sea. Explored loads and walked the heritage trail from Peel to Douglas – 11 miles! Thanks for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
