The 68th Mannin Angling Festival 2018

We will be holding competitions that encompass all aspects of sea fishing, from shore fishing to boat fishing and even kayak fishing. We are a friendly club with volunteers who are always ready to assist visiting anglers with information and assistance to help them come and compete in our fishing festival. We cater for all ages from juniors as young as 5 years old to more senior fishermen and women like regular visitor Bob Newsome who came within two points of winning the last charter boat competition this year at the grand age of 84.

The 2018 festival will start with a two day private boat fishing comp followed by a week of private boat comps, charter boat comps, junior and adult shore fishing comps finishing with a kayak fishing competition. so if you like fishing and you like to be surrounded by beautiful landscapes and stunning wildlife and hopefully some amazing fish this is the week for you to visit the Isle of Man.

I must point out that as a club we are a very environmentally friendly and all our fishing competitions have a strict catch and release rule so all fish we catch with the exception of bait fish are returned to the sea as far as possible.
