Barbirolli International Oboe Competition 2020

The Barbirolli Oboe Competition is an international competition for oboe players from all over the world which takes place every 3 years. The competition is judged by a jury of international oboe players chaired by George Caird. The competition was created by Evelyn Barbirolli, herself an oboist and wife of Sir John Barbirolli. As well as the competition, there are workshops, concerts and lectures throughout the week which are open to the general public.
