Discover the Millennium Way
Do you like a challenge? How about a 25 mile hike across an entire island UNESCO Biosphere Reserve? The Millennium Way travels the backbone of the Isle of Man with views that will take your breath away!
Roy Cottage is a great base for walkers and the Millennium Way is perfect as it finishes in Castletown!
It’s really a walk of two halves; the first from Sky Hill in Ramsey to Crosby is all off-road, hilly and muddy in places. Full walking gear and poles recommended. The second half from Crosby to Castletown is by contrast mostly on roads and country lanes, much flatter and easier.
Unless you’re a pretty committed walker it would be more sociable to do it on two separate days, leaving plenty of time to admire the views and enjoy a well deserved pub lunch at the end 😊
